River Ridge Works
At River Ridge Commerce Center, success isn’t just promised. It’s built into the foundation. This is where strategy meets certainty and where businesses find the tools, the team, and the room they need to grow.
With approximately 6,000 acres of master-planned space and the infrastructure to match, River Ridge is designed to help companies move fast and scale confidently. But what really sets us apart is the people behind it all. This region doesn’t just talk about work ethic. It lives it, every day.
River Ridge is one of the largest business parks in the Midwest. Companies can access sites ranging from 3 to more than 600 acres, each fully integrated into a ready-built infrastructure grid. Development moves quickly here, with zoning, permitting, and site prep designed to make expansion a reality-not a hassle.
From heavy manufacturing to high-tech operations, our infrastructure is built to meet demand. Utilities are sized for serious users, including water, sewer, electric, gas, and fiber. That means fewer delays, more reliability, and partners who are invested in your success.
River Ridge connects you to four major interstates, a nearby inland riverport, and an international airport just 20 miles away. On-site short line rail service operated by OmniTRAX links directly to CSX, providing seamless access to national freight networks. Whether you’re shipping product or receiving materials, this location helps you move farther, faster, and more cost-effectively.
Within 50 miles of River Ridge, more than 900,000 workers are ready to support your growth. They’re trained, job-ready, and coming out of strong institutions like Indiana University Southeast, Ivy Tech Community College, and Purdue Polytechnic New Albany. The region also benefits from specialized career and technical education through the Prosser Career Education Center, which offers over 25 industry-aligned programs.
Talent pipelines are further strengthened by Ford Next Generation Learning within the area’s largest school district and by Southern Indiana Works, the region’s Workforce Investment Board focused on aligning skills with employer demand.
The River Ridge Development Authority doesn’t just develop property. They build relationships. Our team works side by side with companies to streamline every step of the development process. You’ll get straight answers, quick turnaround, and a level of service that keeps projects on schedule and stakeholders at the table.

Meta Moves In
Meta is developing a 700,000-square-foot hyperscale data center right here at River Ridge. The first phase of the development includes an investment of $800 million, and will create over 1,000 construction jobs and will add 100 high-wage permanent positions. It’s proof that global companies see what’s possible here and act on it.

A Talent Pipeline That’s Ready
The regional workforce ecosystem includes Ivy Tech Community College, Purdue Polytechnic New Albany, and Indiana University Southeast, each providing career-focused training that aligns with the needs of River Ridge’s employers.
