Utilities
Companies that locate at River Ridge don’t wait on utilities — they connect and go.
The park offers a complete utility package designed for industrial operations: electric, water, sanitary sewer, natural gas, and fiber are all on-site, scalable, and backed by reliable providers. Even better, some of the infrastructure is owned or managed directly by the River Ridge Development Authority, giving companies faster connections, custom coordination, and future upgrade flexibility.
Electric service is provided by Duke Energy with several sites having access to on-site substations with capacity to support advanced manufacturing, data centers, and large logistics operations. For high-load users, dedicated substations can be engineered in collaboration with the River Ridge Development Authority and Duke Energy.
The River Ridge Development Authority operates its on-site water utility system, offering industrial-scale water capacity. The system currently delivers 6 million gallons per day and is designed for expansion as demand grows.
Wastewater is managed by either the City of Jeffersonville or the City of Charlestown, with an on-site treatment facilities that simplifies regulatory compliance and minimizes delays. The system is engineered for industrial use and can accommodate heavy discharge needs.
Natural gas service is delivered by CenterPoint Energy (Vectren), with reliable access across the park. CenterPoint supports industrial projects and works with developers on connection planning and scaling needs.
Multiple fiber providers serve River Ridge, including AT&T and Spectrum. High-speed broadband is available to all sites, with scalable bandwidth suitable for logistics operations, data-heavy industries, and tech tenants.
